My Thanksgiving Turkey :) lol i made him totally cartoon-ish, and some pumpkins and I am going to make a cornicopia and put them all on a thick piece of painted wood and write "happy thanksgiving" or something on the front... will post more pics once im done painting them all

Getting ready for all the seasons. My "big" snowman all done. Going to do the same if not similar idea as mentioned above. Still working on 2 others.

My Jack Skellington (from the nightmare before christmas) he has a black widow spider on the side.

This was actually my 1st try at clay. My friend Lynn (see Shes a Masterpiece) works a lot with creative paperclay and it peaked my interest-shes AMAZING at all the neat stuff she does-and ive been hooked ever since. She also started me on this blog site ;) lol

Surgery!

I had carpel tunnel surgery 10/13/09 on my right hand. It took the 6 tries to get an IV in (omg!!! lol),which is common but they hurt me!! My surgery was scheduled for 2:30 and I didnt get in until 4:30 because it took an hour for the IV, and then another hour because it took them so long to get it in they started taking other patients. UGH! lol But im totally happy I had it-it has been a painful recovery but quick!

This was my beautiful cast/splint i wore for 10 days. It was really big and bulky. By day 3 is was ready to rip it off!! lol

Today, Oct 22-a WONDERFUL day-i had my cast removed along with the stitches-heres a pic with the stitches-i think there were 4...not bad!

After I got back home I snapped this pic after the stitches were taken out. It looks more red now and prominent....but it feels SOOO much better!!!!

Big E

Me, my hubby and a couple friends went to the BIG E today. I tried CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON for the 1st time-i dont recommend it either! LOL It tasted just the way you would think-2 good things, that just DONT belong together! I did like the fried cheesecake, mac & cheese and perogies though :-) I didnt try the infamous new Craz-E Burger -http://http//www.thebige.com/media/Craz-E.html - It looks totally over done and SOOOO bad for you, but I have heard good reviews.

My Nephew in Ireland

My oldest nephew, Aaron is in Ireland right now for an entire semester. He lives next door to us with my mother-in-law(we have a sort of duplex). Its weird with him not being here. I miss him! He will be coming home 12/4.

Hes a phenomenal lacross player and all around athlete. He always amazes me.

Hes been with his long-term girlfriend, Nicole for over 4 years now-theyre such a cute couple! I can only imagine how much she must miss him.

This isnt his first time in the paper btw! lol Ive only been in the paper a very very-baby small-hand full of times!
